The Jazzlab 27 Leslie Street (off Brunswick Street), Brunswick, VictoriaFor the first time since the pandemic, “The Fellas” (led by bassist Rodrigo Aravena, on a brief visit from Zurich) will get together and play their unique brand of jazzy, funky “Latino” grooves. A band to dance to or simply to sit back and enjoy, the Fellas do a little bit of everything, but with heavy emphasis on groove and improvisation.

Bektet – debut/CD Launch
The Jazzlab 27 Leslie Street (off Brunswick Street), Brunswick, VictoriaBEKTET is the brainchild of Melbourne-based saxophonist and composer Jared Becker. The ensemble traverses the energetic and dynamic music of modern jazz, whilst drawing heavily upon the spiritual music of modal improvisation in the release of their debut full-length album, Kinship.
