Eugene Ball 4tet

Eugene Ball 4tet is Eugene Ball (trumpet) James Macaulay (trombone), drummer James McLean (drums), and electric bassist Mick Meagher (bass). For this MJC performance, the 4tet will draw on their existing repertoire and premiere some new material.

Niran Dasika (Solo) + VOYAGE – Debut

The Jazzlab 27 Leslie Street (off Brunswick Street), Brunswick, Victoria

Every Voyage performance is a completely improvised adventure inviting audiences to journey through evolving orbits of looped and layered vocals amidst fractals of effected electric guitar and ethereal pads of pulsating synthesiser and piano.
An opening set will feature the solo project of trumpeter Niran Dasika, whose work encompasses jazz, free improvisation and electronic music.
