JazzLab venue launched

The JazzLab venue, the new venture from Bennetts Lane founder (and MIJF Artistic Director) Michael Tortoni, opened on April 7 at 27 Leslie Street, Brunswick.

Situated near Brunswick Train Station, and close to Sydney Road’s tram services, the venue has many positive aspects to recommend it, including a midnight show on Friday and Saturday nights.

Currently running on weekends, it will host the MIJF’s club program, and expand to more nights (including the MJC’s new residency on Sunday nights) after the Festival.
